Best @ The Institute Library!: ORPHÉE (1950/NR/1h52m)

Bonjour! Bonsoir!
We are so pleased you're planning to join Best Video at the Institute Library for screenings of classic French film!
We'll be showing three movies in this series:

Thursday, August 29th: Beauty and the Beast, French title La Belle et la Bête.  Directed by Jean Cocteau

Thursday, September 12th: Orpheus, also directed by Jean Cocteau

Thursday, September 26th: The 400 Blows, directed by Francois Truffaut

Because we anticipate these being very popular flicks, and our space is limited, we are requiring RSVPs, and we appreciate your making the effort to click through and let us know you're coming.

PLEASE CLICK HERE TO RSVP

We also hope people will consider making a $10.00 donation to the Library, so that we can continue to keep the Library's lights on, staff present, and programs like this one possible! Please click here to get to our online donation link, or bring a little folding stuff when you come to the movie? Merci merci merci, in advance!

The Institute Library is pleased to be able to work with our comrades at Best Video on presenting this series, and if you have never gone to Best Video, we urge you to explore it posthaste: it is a treat for movie-lovers.

In each case for the Bonsoir, Mes Amis evenings: doors will open at 6:30, movies will start at 7 p.m. If you have any questions, please reach out to the Operations Manager at the Institute Library by emailing Eva@InstituteLibrary.org or by phoning the Library at 203-562-4045.
