DOC SCREENING: THAT WAY MADNESS LIES

Please join us for a special screening of the award-winning documentary THAT WAY MADNESS LIES on Sunday, September 15th at 4pm. Tickets are $10.

Ojeda Film, Inc.'s film "That Way Madness Lies..." is a feature-length documentary about one man's paranoid schizophrenia, told in part from his point-of-view with a collection of iPhone video clips he made before being committed to the Oregon State Hospital in Portland, Oregon.

About the filmmaker Sandra Luckow:
I began my filmmaking career as an undergraduate at Yale University. Sharp Edges, my BA thesis, won the Louis Sudler Prize in the Performing and Creative Arts. I did my MFA graduate work at NYU Tisch School of the Arts Film School.
I have worked in casting at major Hollywood studios, shot reality television, made documentaries that have taken me to China, Mexico, France, India, Ecuador, and Sundance. My non-profit films have won Telly Awards and my interviews have been broadcast in a variety of mediums from Broadway to the Internet.
I teach both documentary and narrative film production at Yale University, School of Art, Barnard College, and Columbia University.
I was director of production at the Yale Summer Film Institute from 2002 - 2014.
I served for eight years as head juror of the USA Film Festival Short Film and Video Competition, an Academy Award qualifier.
Everything I have done both personally and professionally has been mere preparation for tackling this difficult and important material. I believe lives depend on this film being seen.
