MEET ORLA & OTIS
Orla & Otis: Lost & Found
, follows the first adventure of Orla and her cat Otis as they search for Orla's imagination, which she thinks is lost. When reading the book, children of all ages help the pair not only find Orla’s imagination but help them realize that it was never truly lost.
This 44-page illustrated storybook published in 2021 is about finding and nurturing your imagination. It comes complete with an imagination guide filled with questions and fun tasks to help everyone find, ignite, and nurture their imaginations!

ABOUT MEGAN
I have been a visual artist for over 20 years, exhibiting in both the US and internationally. My artwork focuses on motherhood, gender roles, and hair. In 2020, after watching my kindergartners lose confidence in their imagination and ability to create, I embarked on developing my first illustrated storybook designed to help children find and nurture their imaginations. I feel imagination is a critical aspect of learning and every child’s imagination is precious.

I am currently working on a middle-grade portal fantasy book, The Departed, which focuses on lost friendship and the environment. I live in Spring Glen with my husband, two kiddos, and a dog named Onyx!
