The Vengeance Trilogy, directed by South Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook, is a three-part series of films exploring the themes of revenge, justice, and redemption. The trilogy consists of Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002), Oldboy (2003), and Lady Vengeance (2005). Each film features a unique storyline, but they are all thematically connected through their exploration of the destructive nature of vengeance. Park's masterful direction, coupled with the powerful performances of the cast, makes the trilogy a cinematic masterpiece.
Lady Vengeance centers around a woman who is released from prison after serving time for a crime she did not commit. She seeks revenge against the man who framed her while trying to redeem herself in the eyes of society.
