Queer Film Club (QFC) is proud to present BOTTOMS on Thursday, August 15th. The screening will occur outdoors, across the street from Best Video at Spring Glen Church, (weather permitting) at approximately 7:45pm. There will be a 6:30pm Happy Hour at Best Video with happy hour pricing. Entry to the screening is free with a suggested donation of $5. In case of inclement weather, the screening will take place inside at Best Video. The Best Video Coffee Bar will be open for beer, wine, and café drinks.

Bottoms is a 2023 American satirical comedy film directed by Emma Seligman, who co-wrote it with Rachel Sennott. The film stars Sennott, Ayo Edebiri, Ruby Cruz, Havana Rose Liu, Kaia Gerber, Nicholas Galitzine, Miles Fowler, Dagmara Domińczyk, and Marshawn Lynch. Its plot follows two high school senior girls who set up a fight club as a way to hook up with cheerleaders.

Bottoms premiered at South by Southwest on March 11, 2023, and was released in the United States on August 25, by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures. The film received positive reviews from critics.

QFC is an exciting collaboration between East Rock House and Best Video Film & Cultural Center. QFC will be presenting a series of queer comedies.
