“The Jewish Jail Lady and the Holy Thief”, is an hour-long documentary, which tells the story of how Mark, an ex-con and chronic alcoholic, and Harriet, a love-addicted woman in search of a mission, met and helped save thousands of people through Beit T’Shuvah, a Los Angeles residential addiction recovery and treatment center for formerly incarcerated Jewish individuals, which Rossetto founded.
During their three decades at the center, they provided a number of treatment and recovery-oriented programs around Jewish teachings. They have saved thousands of lives, drawing attention and praise from The White House, from both Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama personally.
