At the heart of Little Silver, a duo best known for “mapping out states of personal, historical and emotional in between-ness” (—Rolling Stone) are Steve Curtis (also a founding member of the Americana band, Hem) and Erika Simonian. They arrived in Hamden six years ago from Brooklyn, and will play an outdoors show at Best Video Film & Cultural Center on Friday, September 8th at 5:30 pm (the show will be moved inside in case of rain). Playing with them is long-time collaborator Kevin Brady on keyboard and accordion, and New Haven locals Mike Tepper on bass and Michael Paolucci on drums.
There will be donation vases for the musicians and the venue. Please consider being generous in supporting musicians—opportunities to perform have been fewer the past couple of years. Suggested donation of $10.
Don't miss this show—Little Silver are amazing!
