The Little Silver duo of Erika Simonian and Steve Curtis wrote their debut LP, Somewhere You Found My Name about the ever-shifting landscape of losing and gaining loved ones and the emotional complexity inherent within.

Derek Holcomb is the lead singing and guitar-playing member of New Haven's legendary duo The Furors. The Furors' music is joyful, quirky three-minute pop, like a cross between They Might Be Giants and early British Invasion rock 'n' roll. With Tom Dans on drums and harmonies, The Furors have been delighting New Haven audiences for over four decades.

Sarah Dunn's deeply personal and introspective songwriting gives a window into her feelings and experiences and vulnerabilities. Sarah Dunn has created an intimate and evocative collection of tracks that resonate with the universal themes of love, loss, frank discussion of depression, as it is woven in daily experiences.

Lyrically hopeful yet melancholy, vocally emotive and distinct yet uniquely familiar and comforting, sonically dark but beautifully uplifting; a Stephen Peter Rodgers performance feels like a journey through the soul of a man who’s lived 1,000 lifetimes. A man who has experienced the greatest humanity has to offer and the darkest of waters few can fathom. an absolute treasure of an artist that can turn anything he touches into beauty by simply shining his heartfelt sonic light on it.

Lys Guillorn is a songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and stylistic shape-shifter, dipping one boot in indie folk and the other in psych-rock. They have two full-length studio records of original material, a couple of EPs and singles on Little Cowgirl Records, and have contributed tracks on numerous compilations. Late in 2024, Guillorn released a re-mastered version of their 2009 collection of home recordings called Wayward Children. Their most recent single is called “Dolores & I,” released on the 2020 compilation Waiting on a Sunrise Vol. 1.

Based in the New Haven area, Shellye Valauskas & Dean Falcone write meticulously crafted power pop songs, with an emphasis on “power.” The songs hearken back to the finer moments of the 1970’s and 1980’s and are filled with sparkling melodies powered by sharp and often jangly electric guitars; think Big Star, The Raspberries and Aimee Mann. The latest release, History of Panic, is a collection of catchy choruses, swirly guitars and melodies that instantly draw you in and satisfy on every level.

Folk the Patriarchy is a feminist folk-rock band that blends rich harmonies, sharp storytelling, and a rebellious spirit into their performances. With a sound rooted in indie folk, protest music, and ‘90s singer-songwriter influences, Melanie Lynn, Lisa Roberts, & Kelly Kancyr bring fresh energy to every song they play. Folk the Patriarchy creates a dynamic, heartfelt experience for those who believe in the power of music to connect and inspire.

A bargain was struck with the devil and each other to write, record, and perform the songs Frank Critelli, Muddy Rivers, and Shandy Lawson lasso while sitting around the kitchen table. And thus was born The Bargain.
