Come help celebrate the release of Steve Nystrup's fifth recording, "Stay a Little Longer," at a CD Release show at Best Video Film & Culture Center on Fri., May 17. The show starts at 7 PM and the cover is $10.
Emmy Award winner Steve Nystrup has been in love with the guitar since he was 14 years old and would often fall asleep with it in his arms. Steve’s voice on both guitar and vocals has been described as “unique and potent” and his compositions as “soulful songs which meld the rootsiness of folk, the intelligence of jazz and spirituality of gospel.”
Together with his wife Maureen Wasik on vocals, and son Aaron Nystrup on bass guitar, they comprise the uplifting and engaging Steve Nystrup Trio.
Steve, Mo, and Aaron will be releasing their new six track EP, "Stay a Little Longer," in this show of all original work.
